The Financial Districts and Industrial areas form the backbone of the city, whilst much of the surrounding area is given over to agricultural use. The principle banking area is Leek, whilst the two town centres focus more on financial services. The industrial belt that runs through the city begins with Nakara and Reed Communications in the north, finishing with MCC in the south.
Much of the surrounding area is primarily agricultural in use, or primarily residential.
