Traditional thinking dictates that 10,000 mortals are required to sustain a single Kindred without threat to the Masquerade. This figure also allows for the presence of other supernatural elements and rogue Kindred passing through.
Given this thinking, the Praxis of Stoke–on–Trent currently has population enough to support about 25 Kindred. The northern and eastern Regencies can support 2 Kindred, whilst the southern Regency can only support a single Kindred. The area around Cheadle has a population that can support 3 Kindred.
The Regency of Keele presents a curious case. During academic terms it can support a single Kindred. However, during the summer when the student population drops, feeding becomes more difficult. Perhaps this is why no Regent of Keele in recent memory has ever not paid lip service to the Prince of Stoke-on-Trent.
