Camarilla Symbol Camarilla Game ~ The Geheime Fragments.

Shara al Hanna (II).

One of many to bear this name, as was her sire, and hers before that, Shara (II) as we will call her, is an attractive young woman of Egyptian descent. She appears to be in her late teens, but as with most things where she is concerned, this is false.

Shara(ii) was born in Cairo's slums some time in 1896. Among thousands like her, she survived alone on the streets as an “urchin”, preying on the wealthy explorers and colonials that visited the city around that time. By 1912, she had made her name as a skilled guide, leading just enough groups to treasure, that the ones that did not return were not missed, and taking a percentage from those who did return with her.

Circa 1912, she discovered a remote tomb on her own, and began to strip it of worth. Its owner was less than impressed, but her frantic efforts and hollow promises given to secure her freedom impressed the awakened vampire. Rather than killing her, Shara took Shara (II) into her clan. As a curiosity, it was always assumed that Shara (II) was a Setite, but later information from her childer places her as a Toreador. Her knowledge of the sand snakes was superlative however, and she was as loyal to Set as any of his own Clan.

Unlife changed her little: she had always strived for money and power, only now she gathered such for Set as well as herself. She left Egypt in the 20s with an English socialite who was returning home after his travels. They were soon married; and her evil began to spread here. She claims she was drawn to Stoke in 1927 by a feeling of hidden evil she could not explain. The evil, whatever it was, never let her leave. It is also presumably responsible for her fall, as she had always been a slow planner, a careful builder, until her tactics changed – implicitly under its influence – some time in 1997. Her empire was widespread and subtle, Even the emergence of Sandernacht had caused little disruption and was quietly dealt with by means of a moderate pay off to become part of his expansion. Yet something had changed. Her grasp for power became immediate, almost frantic. She and her followers sired wildly, using tactics reminiscent of the Sabbat; only these neonates had already been established ghouls holding power for other kindred within the mortal power structure. She bargained for power, fought for it, even begged. Her uncharacteristic behaviour was never adequately explained, but peaked in the summer of 1998. She, in a final attempt at gaining power, threw herself wholeheartedly at the Ventrue Prince: Julian Scott–Brown. The relationship between them is again not public knowledge. What is known is that she gave him her heart, and he broke it. Literally. With her heart destroyed, Shara(II)'s unlife ended abruptly, leaving many mysteries. What drew her here? What drove her mad? What part did Julian truly play? These are only some of the many questions surrounding her to which the answers are not apparently known. Her dying comment was that she gave him everything. This has been taken to mean her underground empire; forged over 80 years, weakened by her “war” on the city, but still a prize. He gained much, but did he lose anything? Did she mean anything to him? If anyone asks him and lives, the author would be curious.
