Welcome to the Camarilla Game.
Imagine a darker version of the modern city. In this World of Darkness everything is just a little nastier than it is today: streetlights are dimmer so that no-one can see the muggings, politicians' salaries are paid by unregistered consortiums and the television news is censored to convince the populous that things are fine whilst assault helicopters whirr above the streets of the city. Behind the scenes, the few people who really know what's going on are involved in a growing conspiracy to gain and maintain control of everyone else around them. Where they hope no-one watches, they struggle for dominance. Because they have power. Because they want control.
These shadowy figures are the ones we're really interested in: the Vampires who control the mortal pawns for their own games and feed from the humans who don't even know they're there. But they are not alone. Outside on the borders other threats lurk; the Men In Black who want control the way we think whilst telling us all its for our own good and the Werewolves struggling for survival against an ever spreading urban decay. Everyone is a potential enemy. Or dangerous ally.
For those in the know though, the greater threats are within the city itself; the clandestine covens making deals with unknown entities in return for temporary power, the strange creatures that call the sewers their home and most deadly of all, the other members of the Vampire Court, all jostling for power at the expense of others. It is within the Court that a Kindred's reputation is made and it is the Court that proves to be the deadliest battleground.
The Camarilla Game focuses on the Court's struggle to maintain control over the city whilst maintaining secrecy from the mortal world. Within the Court, individual characters vie to improve their respective positions without drawing the kind of attention that brings with it trouble. Plots are aimed across the whole spectrum of experience and designed to challenge different types of player. Games are run on the first Sunday of every month, Email Us for more details.
