Camarilla Symbol Camarilla Game ~ Toymaker.

Craftsman. Lunatic. Seer.

And he's one ofthe saner ones, Toymaker.

Who buys a minute's mirth to wail a week? / Or sells eternity to get a toy? – The Rape of Lucrece 1.213

Like the rest of his Clan, Toymaker shares the unfortunate taint of lunacy that beset Malkav. Like the rest of his Clan, Toymaker makes no attempt to hide his madness.

At first sight Toymaker presents a terrifying concept, the mind of a deranged adult within the body of a child. Closer inspection however reveals an individual at ease with their condition, and increasingly able to direct it to the benefit of the court.

Politically, Toymaker is the de facto head of the Clan in the city despite his increasingly rare appearances at Court. He would appear to back Dimitri, although he rarely makes his thoughts with regards this matter public. He appears to have few enemies amongst the rest of the Court, certainly none who would bear any ill will towards him. His approval as a Primogen within the Court would appear to show that he has some political ambition.

Toymaker began to explore his gifts as a seer (it was long rumoured that he possessed some form of oracular ability) and has been instrumental in trying to re–establish the presence of the Malkavian Madness Network in the city. The growth of his abilities garnered him respect amongst other members of the court, but the effect upon his already fragile sanity remained far less clear.

Recently, Toymaker has drawn controversy following the events surrounding the loss of critical information to the individual known as “The Operative”, an event that has had damaging repercussions for the Court. What effect this will have upon his political future remains equally unclear. Whilst his pre–eminence among the other Malkavians means that only he can bring the fruits of their strange visions to the Prince, however his seat on the that Council appears secure.

What the Court Says:

He seems to be kind at heart, with just a little craziness thrown on top for good measure.

A rarity – he doesn't giggle like an oaf. There is a real political energy in this one.

The more obvious forms of madness that haunt this Clan appear to be missing from Toymaker.

This Kindred has more masks than emotions. It is hard to get bored playing cards with one such as him.

Mad, but knows what is important.

Those masks creep me out.

Sane meets crazy in a tea party for three.

Apparently a seer.

Upholds the blue.
