Unlikely as it seems, Tidus was apparently a famous street racer in his mortal days, although in the days following his embrace into the Nosferatu that his career has presumably taken a back seat. Tidus gained notoriety for his involvement in the Lupus Sarcina debacle, but managed to avoid the fate of his peers by submitting to the tuition of both the Tremere and later the Ventrue. Indeed, it is rumoured that he spent a number of months in Lichtenstein undergoing tuition by Lady Rosamund on matters of Kindred etiquette (and, if rumours are to be believed, over less savoury skills by Julian Scott–Brown).
Tidus returned to the city in February 2006 still bearing the status of Childer, but his actions in the events of that month (in particular with regards interaction with The Constabulary) saw him once again Acknowledged. Since this time he has once again begun to try and increase the scope of his influence in the city, who knows, Tidus may turn out to have the political chops after all: his sojourn away from the Court certainly appears to have fundamentally altered this young Kindred’s attitude if not his motivations.
