Camarilla Symbol Camarilla Game ~ Margrand Delkeaton.

Arch-nemesis. Super Villain Supreme.

Margrand Delkeaton or Dick Dastardly to his friends.

They'll take suggestion as a cat laps milk. – The Tempest II.i.296

When evaluating Margrand Delkeaton it is easier to keep reminding yourself of one thing.

It all makes sense to him.

Whilst many Kindred plot and scheme in the dark corners on the Elysium, Margrand instead will discuss his schemes (at length) with his target, confiding the details as if seeking approval for his dastardly deeds. It's almost as if there's a Bond film missing its villain.

Curiously, this behaviour has led to many harbouring a soft spot for Margrand. Sure, his timing sometimes leaves a little to be desired, but you can at least rely on him to keep you on your toes. Even the most well prepared of Princes can be thrown of guard by his leftfield ideas. And one should never forget that, despite his light hearted presentation, Margrand does actually hold rather a lot of sway – not to mention Boons within The Court.

Interestingly, Margrand is actually a member of the ultra-secretive Tremere. Whilst he has the usual determination and ambition of the Tremere are present (if a little misguided), the desire to maintain secrecy has clearly been thrown to the wind.

Politically, Margrand is anyone's guess. On the one hand he could be pro-Dimitri; after all he hasn't plotted against him yet. On the other side of the coin he could be anti–Dimitri; after all he hasn't plotted against him yet. All that can be said for sure is that he continues to make life interesting.

What the Court Says:

A Tremere whom I've heard more about than actually seen. Margrand certainly seems to have courtesy up to his ears.

At least he tells you when he's plotting against you.

Superb politician, unless given the reigns of power.

As crooked as a dog's hind leg.

Sleeping peacefully, I'm sure (but he's a Tremere, like a dragon).

Has been.

Very rare I see him these days.

I hear he sweeps floors these days.

Scrubbing floors in Vienna. Forever. Good.
