The day to day pressures of Kindred life produce a simple maxim amongst many, “Don't trust anyone”. With this in mind the troubles that can be experienced by Kindred can lead to difficulties when it comes to picking someone to give you backup in a difficult situation.
It is therefore astonishing that the Kindred known simply as Lewis is at the top of so many lists. Honest, dependable and more than a little handy when it comes to a fight, Lewis is a reliable point man in a world where the term reliable is almost forgotten.
One possible explanation for this trust is Lewis's profession during his mortal days, for it has long been rumoured that he used to be a doctor. Indeed, close observation of his methods reveals that he not only possesses a deep understanding of the human body but also a respect for human life.
Lewis gained further credibility within the Court when he chose to go to the Eastern Front to fight The Black Horseman's armies. Rumours have also began to circulate that he may well have made a major discovery in the war, although given the high levels of security surrounding everything to do with the conflict this has not been confirmed. Whatever happened, Lewis returned from that conflict even more determined to uphold the ideals of the Camarilla and has once again taken up the role of Scourge, a position that he held prior to his move to Russia.
