Camarilla Symbol Camarilla Game ~ Aron Kiln.

Dealer. Soldier. Turncoat?

Aron Kiln, reformed character?

The web of our life is a mingled yarn, good and ill together. – All's Well that Ends Well

Although he was once a respected Kindred within the Court, Aron Kiln fell on hard times following the revelation that he may have aided Castelan during their failed coup of December 2003 and his subsequent defection to the Sabbat. The fact that he was not executed immediately upon his return to the Court perhaps indicates that others allowed this or have future plans for him.

Kiln certainly has a mysterious past. It is rumoured that he may have been a member of the Armed Forces or even Scarab prior to his embrace. He certainly shows an unusual prowess in martial disciplines not usually seen in the Ventrue. Unusually for someone so practiced in these arts he will often try to negotiate a peaceful outcome before resorting to violence.

An astute businessman, Aron Kiln was the face of King Industries, a role he maintained until his apparent deception was revealed to the Court. When the Venture High Council gave him the status of “Clanless” (an interesting political precedent, they had not as some assumed thrown him out of the Clan or declared him Caitiff, but rather restricted his rights to access their facilities) the rest of the Ventrue within the Court quickly assumed control of his business interests. With the support of both his Clan and his business gone, Kiln found himself at his lowest point and defected to the Sabbat.

What happened whilst he was there? No one knows. All that is known is that in the final nights of the battle against the PromEpim Virus and Shara, Kiln was found whilst the Court searched for the Salubri child Hellana. He claimed that it had been his mission to protect the child from harm. The fact that he appeared to be living with the ghost of Cardinal Van Der Meer raised eyebrows as well.

Since his return, Aron Kiln has worked hard to prove his loyalty within both the Clan and the Camarilla, securing once again his Acknowledgement and has been appointed as a deputy to the Keeper of Elysium and now as the Deputy Sheriff, empowered by the loan of status. Although a deputy position may be said to give him little political power. Kiln has also gained a reputation for ensuring that the younger members of the Court become involved in its machinations, although this has led to some raised eyebrows amongst other members.

What the Court Says:

Don't know about his past.

He seems to be a part mage, vampire, hybrid creature... From what I've heard, his past is as strange as his DNA.

Simple, yet complicated.

Don't be fooled by him.

A walking carry–on film script.

So respectable looking he could be put on a Ten Pound Note.

You can put a cane in a man's hand and make him cool, but only a rare individual is cool without one.

Always glad to help.

A truly astounding combatant and a gentleman to boot.
