No other organisation has drawn as much interest in as brief amount of time as the Unification Theorists Elect have, and no other organisation remains as secretive either. Fundamentally a society of likeminded individuals with an interest in the sciences and the occult, the group has proven controversial primarily because of its involvement with James Helmudson, its de-facto head until its disbandment in early 2006.
As a group the Unification Theorists Elect sought to bring together people from a wide variety of disciplines to discuss different matters. However, constantly harangued by elements of the mainstream because of their liberal attitude, the group found it increasingly difficult to operate. When rumours of the kidnapping of ex-members and involvement with other criminal behaviour emerged The Constabulary quickly shut them down. A month later their leader, James Helmudson, was arrested and has spent the time since in the Penkhull Secure Institute, bringing any hopes of a resurrection of it to an end.
But it is rumoured that the Unification Theorists Elect still operate behind closed doors, both out of sight and out of mind of all good folks.
