Camarilla Symbol Camarilla Game ~ Scarlet.

Scarlet.

Type: Philanphropic Society.

Primary Role: Charitable Organisation.

Annual Donations: £ 3.6 Million.

Risen from the ashes of the Crimson Jihad (sic), Scarlet have been very careful to disassociate themselves from the undercover dealings and rumours of Castellan control of the earlier group. Scarlet now seem to be exactly what the Crimson Jihad claimed to be: an association of local business people and local notaries who meet to socialise, raise money and support schemes for the betterment of the city.

Although the group currently meet in the city's museum, prominent member Mr. Richard Montgomery has recently offered Scarlet the opportunity to take over the Dudson Centre for a peppercorn rent once Audax move out; this offer is said to have the condition that the buildings are used as a community resource centre for Stoke–on–Trent and Newcastle as well as Scarlet’s physical home.

Fund raising dinners are the mainstay of Scarlet's calendar and an invitation to one of these events is fast becoming a sign that one has “arrived”. In the style of a private club, attendance at all Scarlet events is strictly by invitation only and acceptance into the group only follows after an analysis period (and, usually, some very public donations to worthy local causes) followed by a closed vote by other members. Bringing a guest to their charity events is apparently permissible for full members but also seems to involve going through some sort of procedure in advance.
