The oldest of the organised crime syndicates in the city, they emerged into public consciousness around a decade ago. A finger in many pie, and sway over dozens of gangs throughout the city, it is suspected that the Group's corruption seeped into the halls of the council and commerce.
The figure of Sandernacht has been an enigma, many have said he simply does not exist - a front to the cabal that run the organisation, others speak of some innocuous little accountant as being this criminal mastermind...although if that were true, did he not die during the time of the Castelan insurgency? Others point to the Sandernacht Three - although most in the know scoff at that one, that was the police clutching at straws. Others call him a Ghost, of all things! To fond of their childhood nightmares I'd suspect. If there is a shadowy master behind the syndicate then his name is still not known.
