The figure known simply as The Prophet remains a mystery to many. Indeed, like many of the other principals of the Asharaka he remains unknown to the Kine population of the city. Amongst the Court he is still treated almost as a figure of myth.
What is known is that he is ancient (at least over one thousand years old), incredibly alien (at least to a Western Kindred's thinking) and possibly possesses clairvoyant abilities which he uses to direct the rest of the Asharaka. Beyond this, everything remains speculation.
Initially, The Prophet was believed to reside in the penthouse apartments of the Reed Tower, from where he directed the six other principals of the Asharaka. He oversaw the complete takeover of Reed Communications and its subsidiaries, the formation of a third criminal group within the city and, if rumours are to be believed, the acquisition of a nuclear device. What is even more remarkable is that through all of this he has remained out of public sight.
However, it later emerged that there had been a split within the Asharaka, leading to the formation of two groups one allied with Shara, the other against. The Prophet, along with The Wind and The Student fought against Shara and here allies during the events of February 2005.
The current location of The Prophet is unknown, but it is assumed that he returned to Singapore following the death of The Wind at the hands of Charles Foster. His last comment to the Court was as enigmatic as his first. On presenting The Wind to the Court he simply remarked, Now if you will excuse me, I have a Teashop to attend to.
