Little is known about Helanna; indeed whether this is her true name is purely a point of conjecture for the Court. It is assumed that she was the Salubri child under the protection of the Sabbat, although the reasons for such protection remain unknown. Her rescue from Shara's forces during the events of February 2005 provides some answers, but many questions remain. She will chiefly be remembered for rescuing Andrew Sant from his coma, although her subsequent disappearance suggests that this may not have gone to plan.
Was Hellana truly a Salubri? Her gentle disposition certainly seems at odds with the common conceptions of the hated Clan. Or was she really something else. Why did she disappear, and why were so many people so keen to protect her?
