Camarilla Symbol Camarilla Game ~ Grandfather Gambino.

Crime Lord. Entrepreneur.

Alfredo Gambino, the Grandfather.

As long as there have been The Gambinos in the city, there has been a “Grandfather” Gambino. The titular head of the family, he is responsible for the growth of the group and the issue of justice within it. Although each “Grandfather” has taken a different approach to the role, the personnel strength needed to assume the mantle has always ensured that only the most determined have taken the role.

The most famous of the “Grandfathers” was Pedro Gambino. Pedro oversaw the rise of The Gambinos within the city at a time when the Sandernacht Group held dominance over crime in the region. However, it is not this that he is remembered for. During the months running up to Castelan's failed coup, Pedro Gambino disappeared completely. It later emerged that he had personally defended “The White Room” from attack by unknown forces. He was found dead on the altar of a local church, his body apparently uncorrupted by the process.

Whether the last “Grandfather” possessed any knowledge of the unknown remains a mystery, suffice to say that Alfredo Gambino once again led The Gambino's attempts to dominate the local crime scene. He was criticised for his heavy handedness in dealing with the threat from The Daughters of the Desert and his willingness to attack members of The Constabulary, both of which renewed pressure on the authorities to deal with the growing gang problems within the city. It was also rumoured that he may have links to some kind of dog cult that is believed to be based around Mow Cop.

And then it was over. In a single night an as yet unidentified group attacked all of the major players within The Gambinos forcing them to leave the city for good. Whilst small pockets of former members remain, the fate of the titular heads remains less clear. Some have speculated that they have returned to the Old Country, but others have commented that their fate was far worse. Whether Alfredo will ever return to the city remains unknown, but with his disappearance, the end of the Gambinos now seems assured.

I bet this one's a werewolf too.
