Following Shara's conjunction with The PromEpim Virus she quickly began establishing her armies. Foremost amongst her troops are the AphoPods, large, insectoid machines designed to do her bidding. Resembling large, floating cockroaches, they scuttle back and forth within her lair performing all manner of tasks. In combat they use there long tentacles to bludgeon an opponent before using their viscous saws to finish the task.
The AphoPod's most prominent action came during Shara's final move against the Court in which she dispatched one for each Kindred in the city in order to prevent them from stopping her. The AphoPod's silently entered each Kindred's Haven, placing them within a drugged state. It was only the intervention of outside forces that prevented the plan from working.
Since the defeat of Shara, some have begun to question where all of the AphoPods went to, no one has yet provided a satisfactory answer.
